Bobbie JoEle Biography

Bobbie JoEle is an indie acoustic singer/songwriter and traveling content creator. Her music calls to the past, both her own and the collective. In an eclectic and emotional set list, she combines classic country roots, stripped down rock classics, a handful of modern and Celtic covers, and at the heart of it all, the wailing of America’s blues. Her style is simple and authentic with an emphasis on the emotionality of music. Her voice and guitar dance together, ebbing and flowing and giving listeners space to feel their own feelings fully. Themes in her original music include alchemizing grief, the seasons of life, and self-liberation. Musical influences include: John Prine, Neil Young, Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, her late husband and musical duo partner, Joey Joeseph, and the down-home fam jams of her childhood.
